Week beginning Monday, 23rd February

In Maths, we will be learning the 5- and 10-times table and dividing by 5 and 10. 

Our Enquiry Theme this Half Term is ‘What did The Great Fire of London teach us?’ and we will begin by finding out what London was like in 1666. We will also start our Design Technology project by learning about how levers and sliders can create movement. 

In English, we will start our new text ‘The Great Fire of London’ by Emma Adams and James Weston Lewis. We will write in the present tense to create a poster about London now, and use the past tense to write about old London.
