Week beginning Monday, 9th February

In our Enquiry Theme, we will be looking at similarities and differences between life in the UK and life in Kenya, including cities and villages. We will also be talking about our mental health as it’s Mental Health Week. 

In Art, children will complete their work based on the artists Edward Tingatinga and Esther Milangu.  

In Maths, we will continue to learn about division including how to divide by two and know how to double and halve a number, linking this to multiplying and dividing by two.  

In English, the children will finish writing their story inspired by The Bear and the Piano. Each child has chosen an animal and an instrument to base their story on. They will also design and create a front cover for their story.
