Week beginning Monday, 6th July

This week it is Red Room’s turn to go on their Residential Visit to Sherwood Forest. They will be using their Geography skills and local history knowledge that they have learnt in the classroom and apply it outside on their visit. Violet Room will be completing their local history information booklet and exploring different art techniques such as hatching, scribbling, stippling, and blending to create light/ dark lines with pencils. 

Violet room will continue to explore the focus text ‘The MinPins’. They will learn new adjectives to describe a character and setting. We will also complete artwork based on the Nottingham artist Hannah Sitwell. 

In Maths will continue to learn about volume and capacity through practical experiences.
