Week beginning Monday, 11th May

n Maths, we will be learning how to find three quarters of a shape or number and count in fractions up to a whole. We will then move on to learning about telling the time, beginning with o’clock and half past. 

As part of our Enquiry Theme, we will be learning how to design a product based on research in DT.  We will look at different smoothie recipes and plan our own, including designing an attractive label for our product. 

In RE, we will be learning about what the story of David and Goliath tells Christian and Jewish people, and we will be reflecting on a time when we have been courageous. 

In English, the children will use adjectives to write a character description for Rosie Revere Engineer and a school report card. The children will also design and write about a fun invention of their own.
