Week beginning Monday, 15th June

As part of our Enquiry Theme, we will be learning about the legend of Robin Hood in History.  We will learn about what he did and how this interesting story has gained a special and almost magical status, making it a celebrated legend around the world. 

In Art, we will learn about the local artist Hannah Sawtell and in IT we will continue to use 2Paint a picture on Purple Mash to recreate a Pointillist style painting. 

In English, the children will work in small groups to plan and rehearse a documentary about Wolves. Later in the week the children will write a detailed non-fiction text about Wolves. They will use subheadings, captions, list and labels.   

In Maths, we will continue to learn about statistics focusing on how to record information in a pictogram and how to interpret pictograms including representations of 2,5 and 10.
