Week beginning Monday, 9th March

In our Enquiry Theme, we will be learning about different historical sources through our Great Fire of London workshops led by our visitors from Mansfield Museum.

In Science, we will learn that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited. We will describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of animals and plants, and how they all depend on each other.

In PSHE, we will be identifying special people in the school and community who can help to keep us safe and know how to ask for help.

In English, the children will learn to use adverbials to express time when comparing London in 1666 to now. They will also plan and write a fact file about The Great Fire of London.

In Maths, we will continue learning about Money. We will be exploring how to make different amounts, how to compare amounts of money and different ways to make £1. We will also combine our learning from addition and subtraction with our learning on money to perform calculations involving money.
