Week beginning Monday, 18th May

In Maths this week, we will continue learning how to tell the time. We will be learning how to tell the time to the hour and 5-minute intervals. We will also know that there are 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day.  

In our Enquiry Theme work we will be evaluating our final products that we have made this half term, our bridges and our smoothies. 

In RE we will be talking about God’s role within all the stories we have learnt about and express our own ideas about God. 

In Science we will be learning about the human lifecycle stages – baby, child, teenager and adult.   

In English, the children will design a wacky invention such as a hover skateboard, a moving disco or a hotdog dispenser. Then they will write a detailed explanation for how their invention works. The children will be taught how to use noun phrases to describe and how to use conjunctions to sequence their writing.
