Week beginning Monday, 13th April

Our Enquiry Theme this half term is ‘How are products developed?’

In Design and Technology, we will be looking at bridges and how they are made to be strong and stable.  We will also be learning about the Eatwell Guide and learning about the different food groups. 

In RE, we will be learning about the same stories that are found in The Torah and in The Old Testament. 

In Maths, we will be starting ‘Fractions’ and learning about parts and wholes, equal and unequal parts and recognising a half. 

In English, we will introduce a new text called Lizzy and the Cloud by the Fan Brothers. The children will use a range of sentence types to create an advert, learn how to add detail using conjunctions and prepositions when describing a story setting.
