Week beginning Monday, 23rd March

In Maths, we will be learning about Mass and Volume. We will be learning how to measure and compare masses, volumes and capacity. Key vocabulary includes heavier, lighter, compare, full, empty.  

For English, we will be finishing our book ‘The Comet’ and writing our own version of the narrative. This includes planning each part, with their own character and trying to include adventurous noun phrases and progressive verbs. 

In our Enquiry, we test and evaluate our rockets we made in D&T. We will be testing this against our design brief to see if these rockets are lightweight, strong and durable enough to withstand impact (landing).

In Music, we continue to learn and play glockenspiels to the music – Round and Round. We will also be looking at improvisation.

On Friday we will take part in our Easter Service in the Minster. During the week we will decorate and participate in our class egg rolling competition.
