Week beginning Monday, 20th April

We start the week with our trips to the ‘Old Barn’ at Field Farm in Rolleston. This supports our enquiry to find out more about where our food comes from.

In Maths, we continue our learning of multiplication and division, focusing on adding equal groups and arrays. 

For English, our book ‘Dinosaurs and all that rubbish’, leads us to use conjunctions to make comparative sentences. We shall also identify verbs and command sentences to give instructions to help the dinosaurs clean up the earth. 

In PE, we continue our unit in Dance, responding to rhythm and patterns through movement. We shall be creating a ‘plant dance’ to create a sequence. 

For Music, we listen and appraise Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins and record our ideas of imagination of the music.
